A recent review says: “Available studies suggest that acupuncture is at least as effective as, or possibly more effective than, prophylactic drug treatment, and has fewer adverse effects.”

Research published by Migraine Action says “A review of 33 trials, involving nearly 7,000 people, showed that patients who underwent the alternative therapy did experience relief from headaches and migraines.”
