Headaches and Migraines

NICE recommends acupuncture for headaches and migraines.

NICE (National Institute of Clinical Excellence) has recently recommended a course of acupuncture “in patients susceptible to migraine and tension headaches…[and]...for the prophylactic treatment of chronic tension-type headache.” For more information you can read the full NICE report on headaches, or the BBC News article.

You can watch a video clip about how acupuncture helped two migraine sufferers on the British Acupuncture Council website.

You can also watch a Telegraph online video with British Acupuncture Council Acupuncturist describing how acupuncture treatment can help patients who suffer from headaches. (The Telegraph Online - 19/9/12)

More research
